OUR STORY

My two founders developed me to combine modern, effective, and affordable oral care. So, how did the idea come about? At a big shared apartment party in Frankfurt, where Flo and Stefan were present. After a long evening, even the biggest party animals got tired and needed to brush their teeth. It was then that the two noticed: many of their friends were still using manual toothbrushes, although most dentists recommend electric brushing.


While looking for reasons, the same answers kept coming up: their friends found it too expensive, too inconvenient, and not attractive enough. When Flo and Stefan went to sleep, a small idea of an electric toothbrush that makes people happy was already forming in their minds. This led them to start happybrush and develop the mission "OralCare That Really Cares."

OUR APPEARANCE ON "DIE HÖHLE DER LÖWEN" (The German Dragon’s Den)

October 24, 2017, was a significant day for Flo and Stefan: their appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen" (The Dragon's Den). It was an important milestone to introduce happybrush to an experienced jury and a large audience. Well-prepared and highly motivated, they looked forward to their "den visit." At first, they received some criticism from the judges but ultimately they convinced Carsten Maschmeyer and Ralf Dümmel—and secured a deal. Although the paths have since diverged from them, they continue to work every day to bring fresh ideas to the somewhat outdated oral care industry with happybrush.

On our journey toward a more sustainable world of oral care, we've already achieved a lot. But we want more! That's why we test and innovate daily with great passion to create even more sustainable products, packaging, and solutions.
