Recycling

We all are very concerned about our environment. If your happybrush can no longer be used and you don’t send it back to us in the usual exchange and return process, it should not be disposed in the usual household waste.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

Bring your happybrush to an environmentally friendly recycling yard for old electrical and electronic equipment. For more information, contact your local council. To protect the environment, batteries and accumulators should not be disposed with usual household waste, but must be disposed at appropriate collection points. Besides, the applicable legal regulations on battery disposal should be maintained.

Since our shipments may contain rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to draw your attention to the following: Batteries and rechargeable batteries should not be disposed with household waste, but you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries may contain harmful substances which, if not stored or disposed properly, may harm the environment or your health. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled. You can return the batteries free of charge after usage in close proximity to your home (e.g. in trade or in local collection points). The submission at retail shops is limited to the usual quantities for end users as well as those used batteries which the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in his product range. The sign with the crossed-out dustbin means that you should not dispose of batteries and accumulators in household waste. Under this symbol you will also find the following symbols with the following meaning: Pb: Battery contains lead | Cd: Battery contains cadmium | Hg: Battery contains mercury
